Wants to shop online on facebook? Now you can do online shopping on facebook with the world top online retailer Amazon. Amazon has launched its shops on facebook for users to do online shopping with the variety of products online. Amazon’s subsidiary Quidisi has opened up a few stores selling household items on the social network.

Quidsi, which was acquired by Amazon for $540 million in the fall, has created electronic commerce pages on Facebook for Soap.com, BeautyBar.com and Diapers.com. These are companies owned by Quidsi, and their social network presence together amounts to about 60,000 fans.

When you go to Soap.com’s Facebook page, you see a tab called “My List” where you can search for and purchase products all within the social network. The shopping cart on the site looks like a more sophisticated, cleaner version of the one on Amazon.com, and lets you confirm what you want to purchase. The tool also tracks your order, and encourages you to “like” the product.

What I found most helpful was the “My Lists” tab, which let me shop across all of Quidisi’s destinations (Diapers, Soap, and Beauty Bar), reorder, and customize my shopping list. This seems like a more robust version of FatWallet.

Quidisi somewhat resembles Storenvy in allowing you to shop from “stores” within a single tab. However, while Storenvy requires you to create a specific account for the application,”My Lists” just asks you for the login you’ve previously used on BeautyBar.com, Soap.com, or Diapers.com.
After brings Apple iTunesMusic on Twitter, now Apple has launched Apple App Store on Twitter with the twitter name @AppStore, new Twitter account for its popular iOS and Mac App Store. The new @AppStore Twitter account only made its debut a few hours ago, but it has already amassed more than 35,000 Twitter followers as of this writing. For comparison, its sister account, @iTunesMusic, has more than 680,000 followers.
As the accounts first tweet explains, @AppStore will feature new apps in Apple’s iOS and Mac App Stores and provide exclusive offers for Twitter users. For example, the account’s second tweet provided a quick pitch and a link to Nike’s Training Club App.

Creating a Twitter account for the App Store seems like a simple and effective way to generate more buzz and more downloads about featured apps. It’s essentially the same thing Apple has been doing with its App Store Facebook Page, which has nearly 1 million fans. Apple also has five popular iTunes Twitter accounts tweeting about new films, music and TV shows.

Still, Apple is known for its lack of engagement in social media. The company doesn’t have official Facebook or Twitter accounts. While the @AppStore account is a refreshing addition to Apple’s social media roster, don’t expect Steve Jobs, Tim Cook or Apple, Inc. to be tweeting anytime soon.

Apple has just announced that they are going to launch its Mac App Store doors on Thursday, January 6, 2011. The Mac App Store was unveiled as one of the new features of Mac OS X Lion, which will be available to users later in 2011.

The idea behind the Mac App Store is to bring the same experience of finding, installing and updating apps on iOS devices to Mac OS X. For consumers, the Mac App Store promises a way to streamline the installation and app discovery process, as well as keep apps synced across various machines.

Furthermore, unlike the iOS App Store, the Mac App Store won’t preclude developers from offering upgrades or variable pricing via their own storefronts.

As we told you last night about Google to buy Groupon (A daily deals coupon website). Like Amazon to buy LivingSocial, Groupon most successful Rival, But it seems that it’s not easy to buy any website for money as compare to its revenue in a year.

According to report now Groupon have rejects Google's $6 Billion offer. Citing two sources familiar with the talks, the Chicago Tribune is reporting that Groupon, a fellow resident of Chicago, has decided to go it alone, passing up an offer to be acquired by Google for between $5 billion and $6 billion. The report suggested Groupon hasn't made a final decision about whether it wants to pursue an initial public offering but might go down that road next year.

Talks had been reportedly hot and heavy between Groupon and Google, always looking to boost its presence in local advertising markets and acquire sources of data about consumer buying intent. Groupon offers a "deal of the day" to users, usually a significant discount on a sought-after product or service in their city or town.

Google would love to add that kind of service geared around specifically targeted local markets, which is seen as a big source of future Internet advertising growth. It's not clear if Google was unwilling to go high enough for Groupon's tastes (although $6 billion would have been Google's largest purchase by a significant margin) or if Groupon simply believed it could chart its own path, following start-ups such as Twitter that have drawn Google's interest but generated momentum on their own: All Things D reported earlier on Friday that Groupon was doing as much as $2 billion a year in revenue.

A Google representative declined to comment on what the company termed "rumor and speculation," while representatives Groupon did not immediately respond to a request seeking comment.

Everybody seems to be waiting a long for news about Google next big project Chrome Operating System. So now your wait is over. Google has now plan an event this Tuesday to share some exciting news regarding its Chrome OS. Google could finally be ready to shed a little more light on the progress of its Chrome OS project.

The company sent out invitations to an event next Tuesday, December 7, in San Francisco "where we plan to share some exciting news about Chrome," according to a copy of the invitation. No further details were provided.

The Chrome OS Net books and laptop were once expected to arrive before the end of the year, as Google is now expected to merely have a beta software version ready by the end of the year, with consumer-oriented systems not ready until 2011. The idea behind Chrome OS is to create a lightweight browser-based operating system that would run just Web applications, as opposed to native ones.

Another possibility for the event is that Google is ready to show off the Chrome Web Store, which was also expected earlier in the year but has slipped. So keep in touch with us for more update about this main event.
